Training

The Training & Placement Cell is well equipped with ample infrastructure in terms of Testing Halls, Consultancy Halls, and conference Halls for Pre Placement Talk, Presentations, Mock interview sessions, Personality development sessions, soft skills development programs etc.

This department arranges training for students in top industries for 4 weeks in 4th semester and 6 weeks in 6th semester. All Engineering students must undergo their practical training at various prestigious organizations like: Wipro Technologies Ltd, Sify Technologies Ltd, Accenture, 3i-Infotech Ltd, HCL Technologies , Samsung, Reliance Group, NTPC, Tata Consultancy Services Ltd, NHPC, Hero Group, Avon Cycles Ltd , Vardhman Group, ACC Ltd, Ambuja Cements Ltd,  Aarti International Ltd, Upper India Steel Ltd, Vallabh Group, Trident Group, Bharti Airtel Ltd, Quark India Ltd, Spice, Vodafone, Nestle India Ltd, Rohan & Rajdeep Infrastructure Ltd, Soma International  Ltd, Gammon India Ltd, Sonalika International Ltd,   Jaypee Group etc. Such companies provide Training & Placement opportunities to our students.

Placements

The Placement Department arrange interview of our Engineering Students with the top MNC’s, Public Limited Companies, Private Sector Industries & Core Sector Industries in SIET campus in their Final Years/Semesters. Students also face direct interview at companies’ premises as per schedule by Personnel’s of different Industries in coordination with SIET Placement cell.

Training & Placement cell firmly believes in ‘Industry-Academia Interaction’. In order to accomplish ‘Industry-Academia Interaction’ T & P Cell Frequently organize Industrial Visits of students to top Industries to see the Real Scenario, Work Culture, Industry Environment, Production Cycle, Technologies Awareness & Implementation. T & P cell also invites Top Personnel’s from reputed Corporate Houses for Technical Workshops/Seminar to update students with latest Industry Trends & Upcoming Technologies. T & P Cell works at all possibilities for bridging the gap between Industry & Academia.
